Why People Come

DPC is a family church. I love all the little children who attend church with us, as they are part of our family. I feel the love of the people at DPC the moment I enter the church. It makes my heart sing.

Having been part of the DPC family for nearly 15 years, we can without a doubt confirm that it is a wonderful Christ centered church where the Lord has sanctified, grown, and blessed us. Throughout our years at DPC, the Lord has provided many opportunities to serve, develop relationships, and participate in growing His Kingdom. We love and appreciate Pastor Kelley. His care and love for this congregation is evident in all he does.

When you attend DPC you can count on solid Biblical teaching and feeling welcomed and encouraged. The music and the Sunday school programs for adults and children are excellent.

Our family attends Desert Palms Church because of the focus on God’s word and the relationships that we have built with our church family. DPC has given us a chance to grow in our faith and in the depth of our friendship with other believers.

Our family was searching for a church that would truly welcome us—and our child—into worship, while also being rooted in Reformed theology. What we found was far more than we hoped for. From the very beginning, we were embraced by a loving and genuine church community that made space for our whole family. They have walked alongside us with grace through both our joys and our trials, offering support, kindness, and a true sense of belonging. We are deeply grateful to call this church our home.

Desert Palms provides a safe place for our family to worship God and be fed spiritually every week. We felt welcome from the beginning and the gospel is preached from the pulpit. It is great to have a place where our children can grow in their knowledge of God along with us.

My son and I were looking for a church that would offer Bible based messages, traditional liturgy, music and hymns, and a friendly congregation.  We found all of that and much more at Desert Palms Church.  It has strengthened our faith and encouraged us to be more involved in spreading the Word.

We count it God’s rich and sweet blessing to our family to be members of this great Church body; where Christ is preached, the Father hallowed, and the Spirit relied upon for our sanctification. The Word of God is treated with grave seriousness at Desert Palms, and this in large part has resulted in a fellowship of believers who love lavishly in the power of Christ and is as a city on a hill and a strong refuge for us.
