Women's Bible Study
DPC’s Women’s Bible Study is designed to bring women together to build a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and with one another. We provide personal Bible study books and questions so that our members may gain a deeper understanding of God’s word prior to our meetings. Then, during group discussion, we link that knowledge to our everyday challenges and struggles and provide solutions and direction given to us by God’s Word.
We meet each Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Church Library.
What are we studying this semester?
The Gospel of Luke. Did you know that Luke is not one of the original twelve disciples? Did you know that he was a physician who gave up his thriving practice to travel and spread the gospel with Paul? Did you know that Luke also wrote the book of Acts? Did you know that Luke is the only one to write the story of the Prodigal Son as well as Mary’s prayer of praise?
Luke’s account of the life of Jesus gives us a unique perspective, as is written more to the unbeliever (Gentile) than the Jew and features stories and details not included in the other three gospels. At Bible study, we are asking not only what is being said, but why Luke included it and what the passage means for us today. Join us each week or whenever you can!

Men's Bible Study
DPC’s Men’s Bible Study is designed to bring men together to build a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and with one another. We provide in-depth exegetical teaching on a specific book of the Bible. Then, we link that knowledge to our everyday challenges and struggles and provide solutions and direction given to us by God’s Word.
We take to heart the exhortation to study and be transformed by God’s Word, so we meet each week and have been doing so for more than 20 years!
There is no preparation needed to attend. Meetings are held each Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. at Mimi’s Cafe and Bakery, 2800 W. Chandler Blvd., Chandler AZ 85224.
In addition to our study at Mimi’s Cafe, we also meet on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Church Library. This semester, we are studying Jesus’s life and work in the Gospel of Matthew. Join us each week, or whenever you can!
